KSAT News was out at Brandeis HS today shooting a spot that aired tonight on the news. You can watch it on their website.
Reporter, Patty Santos, interviewed one of our own, Lori Rivero, who did a great job talking about the problem. And the story provided a useful update on changes that have already taken place and changes that are in the works.
Safe Roads For Brandeis High School 
Just trying to help get things done! The reporter was able to see first hand just how dire the need for traffic control was at that intersection. As a parent that frequents that entrance by the ROTC/Bandhal, l I knew first hand what it was like. The reporter was at the main entrance when I told her that wasn’t the entrance that we felt needed attention. The other entrance did and she came over to where I was. I then told her this is where the accident was. I explained everything that we as parents see on a daily basis, and how the crosswalks were placed on the wrong side. All the kids cross the street on the right because that is where the sidewalk ends, putting them in harms way. Common sense solutions can be done but we are the people that see the needs daily.
